A SPECIAL DAY, by Anne Sibley O’Brien, is published by Bebop Books as part of their excellent Multicultural series for young readers. Many stories in this series are available in both English and Spanish editions. A SPECIAL DAY tells the story of a Koren American girl preparing to celebrate her grandfather’s 60th birthday, a Korean tradition.
